This summer season, Cretan Malia Park is the epicenter of authenticity for today’s modern traveler showcasing Crete’s rich heritage and storied soulful, experiences.
PHĀEA FARMERS FEAST AT BOSTANI
Our Bostani – the on-site vegetable and herb garden, tended to by an in-house team, produces seasonal crops that include eggplants, onions, tomatoes and peppers, amongst other vegetables, fruits, local greens and herbs, all destined for the intimate garden dinners that are hosted by our Chef Lefteris Iliadis. The menu is inspired by Crete’s local flavors and aromas, and pays tribute to all-time-classic family recipes.

Jordan Tseneklidis – OPEN FIRE COOKING
Sharing his passion for nomadic open fire cooking art, Chef Jordan Tseneklidis introduces the elegant taste of fire, the integrity of taste and the importance of raw materials.
Founder of the culinary project Nomade et Sauvage, Chef Tseneklidis embraces the philosophy of outdoor cooking, in remote locations, over an open fire, seeking to preserve the culinary identity and essence of the geographical region and its people.
Joining forces with Cretan Malia’s Creative Consultant Chef Athinagoras Kostakos, they will be creating a menu that will narrate the story of Crete, through its flavors and aromas.

CRETAN SOUL
Awe-inspiring sensory experiences, regional wines, and gastronomic treasures entrenched in Cretan history. Our Executive Chef, Lefteris Iliadis, serves guests traditional Cretan meze and raki on a large wooden table especially designed for the garden as he describes our sustainable agriculture practices. After that, you’ll be given the opportunity to choose by hand the seasonal vegetables and herbs that will be used in our in-depth cooking class at Mouries.
Ioannis Beastalis – OPEN FIRE COOKING
A passionate Chef with love for meat-based meals, Chef Ioannis Beastalis is inspired by traditional and modern techniques from around the world.
Based on his philosophy that ‘every meal needs to ignite all senses’, he will present simple dishes infused with outstanding ingredients, and imaginative combinations.
This summer season, you can enjoy a delicious meal prepared by chef Beastalis who loves top-quality, seasonal ingredients and local flavors.

WINE TASTING
Savor the native wines, influenced by the island’s richness and embody the lighthearted nature of this Cretan idyll. The native grape varietals of Crete are introduced and promoted through special wine appreciation events. Also, as part of the Futouris project for Sustainable Viticulture, we assist regional winemakers who engage in sustainable farming. Join us on one of these evenings to learn more about the Plyto, Dafni, Vilana, Mandilari, and Kotsifali kinds that are the most recognizable in Crete. Savor them with mouthwatering local cheeses like Tirozouli, Anthotiros, Xynomizithra, Mizithra, and Gruyere for a culinary experience that immerses you in the flavors and fragrances of Crete.
OLIVE OIL TASTING
A premium quality olive oil can be appreciated just as much as a glass of fine wine due to its rising appeal among food enthusiasts. All you need is the ideal location to taste it. Have a distinguished Cretan Olive Oil Experience to fully appreciate the richness and complexity of olive oil made in Crete. Olive oil tasting events have been planned by Crete Malia Park in conjunction with Kritsa village’s Agricultural Cooperative’s olive oil producers.
