In keeping with the hotel’s overarching inclination for Mediterranean themes, Almyra journeys to
Italy for daily lunch and dinner. Positioned at the northernmost tip of the property and overlooking
the sea, the restaurant presents a menu crafted by Chef Athinagoras Kostakos, where Italian dishes
incorporate sustainably sourced, local ingredients for an assemblage of meals
that are both fresh and authentic.

Visiting diners can expect dishes such as grilled octopus with fresh tomatoes, garlic, crushed burrata
and oregano-olive oil sauce, or one of the dozen or so pizzas prepared in the restaurant’s newly
installed outdoor stone oven, which is fueled by the heaps on firewood on display. Meals are
rounded up with a number of sweet treats including a decadent pavlova served with meringue,
vanilla ice cream and red fruits, and the chocolate crémeux; a supreme mix
of feuilletine, praline and coconut crumble.

Bolstered by a well-executed menu, the occasion-worthy restaurant is elevated by chic interiors that
nod to a marina theme, strengthened by a gentle palette of blue and white that also nod to the Greek
flag. Shielded from the beating sun by a bamboo covered wooden pergola, the restaurant is notable for
its lack of walls, the result being a sprawling open plan space where the soothing breeze of the
ocean is literally close enough to touch.

Chairs woven from strands of white- and navy-colored straw surround washed oak tables and
banquette styled seating honed from white concrete and cushioned with navy upholstery.
Whitewashed walls, decorated with sequences of gilded mirrors, about a large in-built wine cooler in
which a wide selection of local and international labels are housed and offered to accompany
the lunches and dinners served here daily.
